Tom Brady absolutely loves retirement life, judging by his latest Instagram post.
The 45-year-old has shared videos of him having the best time of his life at the beach with friends and family, where he can be seen playing soccer, golf and jet skiing by the ocean. .
“I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate life on and off the field with friends and family.”
He added: “I am even more grateful to have completed 30 minutes of beach soccer without any serious injuries.
Brady posted a video in late March of a beach vacation with his son Jack and former teammate Julian Edelman.
The video shows Brady cutting the number 12 cake that has become synonymous with his career, while friends and family cheer and celebrate his time in football.
Brady is known to be on a strict diet, but he’s probably out of the game now, allowing himself the occasional cake.
Brady retired for the second time in February after an iconic career that spanned 23 seasons and won seven Super Bowls.
His final season in the NFL was overshadowed by his divorce from his wife of 13 years, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. There were ongoing suggestions that she was unhappy with his “retirement” last year.
In a statement last October, Brady said the decision the couple made after “a lot of consideration” was “difficult” and “painful”, and Gisele, 42, “had to end the marriage.” It’s never been easy…we fell apart.
But now he seems to be living his best life with friends and family gathered around him in the sunshine.
Brady insisted in his retirement video this year that he’s stepping away from the game entirely, but rumors still persist that he’s unlikely to return.
But in early March, he hit the ground running with a funny reply on Twitter.
Brady had two children with Bündchen, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian. His eldest son Jack was born from a past relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
