Provo, Utah — Wayne Parker, who has served as Provo City Chief Executive since 2003, is retiring.
He will retire on September 16, 2023, according to the city’s announcement.
“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve the city of Provo with three mayors, 33 city council members and countless dedicated employees,” Parker said. “They are true heroes who dedicate their lives and careers to making life better for their residents.”
Current Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufushi shared her thoughts on Parker’s 20-year tenure.
