Cage plays Matt, the estranged father of Ashley (Ashley Greene) and young daughter Sarah (Talia Campbell). The two are involved in a criminal organization and their lives are threatened. Matt comes to his rescue and is chased by gang leader Donny (played by Jackie Earle Haley) and his lieutenant Bobo (Ron Perlman).
To save his family, Matt must kill an army of bad guys in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an onslaught of criminal gangs. “That old man. He keeps killing everyone. Everyone!” Bobo exclaimed at one point in the trailer.
Soon, Ashley learns that her father’s secret past will be revealed as he tries to restore his peaceful retirement in paradise.
Cage goes to the beach after riding the new psychological thriller surfer From Director Lorcan Finnegan (Vivarium, nocebo) and screenwriter Thomas Martin play a man who returns to his Australian hometown and fights the local surfer gangs.
