More details about MotoGP 23’s new online multiplayer ranking system have been revealed thanks to the second developer Q&A session where we answered some questions from the community.
Of course, we haven’t seen it in action or tested it ourselves yet, but two of the game’s developers explained how it works.

“Every level, including Platinum but excluding Legend, has three different sublevels,” said Michele Caretti, Executive Producer and Creative Director of the title.
“There is a lot of granularity [within] There are different levels and unique “Legends”. There is plenty of room for polishing.
“Thanks to this system, we can put players of the same level in the same competition,” said Stefano Zanaboni, lead game designer for MotoGP 23.
“We want players to enjoy this new feature of MotoGP and explore it with great racing.”
To date, no such system has been implemented in any series developed by Milestone. There has been public and private lobbying in the past, but joining an independently organized league was the only way to race against similarly skilled riders.
Of course, as previously revealed, dynamic weather and flag-to-flag rulesets will also be possible online. This is the first in the series. I mean, someone’s hero will definitely try and win in the rain with slick tires and try a “bloodbinder”…
MotoGP 23 is set to 8thth Launching in June 2023, it will also include cross-platform online racing between PlayStation and Xbox consoles, but unfortunately PC and Switch are not available.
