New online tool matches investors with accredited advisors to provide advisory services
Denver, Colorado — News Direct — Investments & Wealth Institute
The Investments & Wealth Institute launched InvestmentHelp.org. InvestmentHelp.org is an intuitive, easy-to-use, web-based tool that allows investors to connect with certified advisors who can provide the financial assistance they need. It is alive.
Investors seeking a qualified and accredited advisor will answer a series of questions on the site regarding their financial needs and goals. This data is neither stored nor shared by the Institute, but is used by the investor and his four accredited Investment Management Analysts®, Certified Private Wealth Advisors® and Retirement Management Advisors® to meet their chosen needs. Used to instantly match advisors with any of the following certifications: and/or Certified Financial Planner® certification.
Unlike other online advisor listings, all listed professionals are qualified, qualified and certified by non-profit accreditation bodies managed to meet international best practices and standards for talent certification providers. I have certifications.
“Commercial investors seek qualified, competent and ethical advisors who are certified in the areas and services they want or need. It is designed to work for investors by featuring 3rd party certified professionals in its four competencies (Investment Consulting, Personal Wealth Advisory, Retirement Management and Financial Planning).” said Dorothy Bossan. She is Director of CIMA®, CPWA®, RMA®, CFP®, BDO Wealth Advisors and President of the Institute.
Investors can find potential advisors by navigating five simple screens on the site. User-entered data is not captured or shared unless the consumer consents at the end of the process.
“life stage”— Identify exactly where you fall on the wealth spectrum, from pre-accumulation through accumulation, storage and distribution.
“Your finances”– Enter your income and available investable assets.
“Your preferences– Select different preferences (i.e. geographical proximity, demographic preferences, etc.)
“Your Situation”– Indicates specific triggering events that may affect the recommended financial advice strategy (i.e. home purchase, family change, cash flow or tax issues, etc.).
“Your Priority”—Select the factors that can influence your investment strategy and indicate the core competencies (certifications) you look for in an advisor.
Advisors that appear in the resulting match are prioritized in order of the advisor whose information most accurately correlates with the investor’s criteria. This information is taken from association member profiles, including accreditation status. Members who do not hold a valid certification will not be listed.
“We provide investors with the ability to safely and securely choose from a list of accredited advisors who have demonstrated appropriate experience, ongoing education, and a commitment to adherence to ethical standards, based on criteria that are important to them. We are happy to offer it,” he said. Sean R. Walters, CAE, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute.
Investors have control over whether and how InvestmentHelp.org follows up on lists of matching advisors. You can start by viewing each advisor’s profile to learn more about their services. You can then fill out a form to request more information from your advisor or contact your advisor directly.
The institute first soft-launched the site in April to test and encourage members to update and complete their member profiles before selling to investors. An online advertising campaign aimed at investors, including sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Barron’s and Google, will begin in June and run through the rest of the year.
“We believe that by continuing to market this tool to investors, and by getting more investors to participate in this tool and hopefully share their positive experiences with others, it will gain significant traction in the consumer market. We look forward to it,” Walters insists. “Part of our organization’s mission is to help the financial advice industry make a positive impact on the lives of investors, empowering them to make better and more responsible financial decisions. Yes, and InvestmentHelp.org is an important first step in that effort.”
