Demetrious Johnson will defend his ONE Championship flyweight title next month in a trilogy with Adriano Moraes. The longtime UFC flyweight champion has revealed that his next fight could be his last.

“It’s definitely possible. Now that I’m 36, I’m sitting with my wife, my kids and my closest friends and I’m like, ‘How much more do I have to do? How much more do I want to do?’ When I look at peers of my generation like Henry Cejudo, I think I took inspiration from him when we first trained together.”
He continued:
“I asked, ‘You’ve been out for three years, how do you make a living?’ No, I’m coming back because I want to.”
“Look at Tyrone Woodley. He’s a hoot. I feel there has to come a time when I have to force myself…to earn an income.”

Johnson shared that he plans to make the decision after taking time off following his latest title defense.
