Seton Hall’s Professional Certification Program will be offered online from September 2023 to July 2024 with live, concurrent instruction from CFP® Certified professionals in the financial services industry. The program’s curriculum consists of six core courses, including insurance, investment, and retirement planning, and one Capstone Review course that provides information on the area of financial planning for both novices and seasoned practitioners. The student will be eligible to complete her program within 10 months and take her CFP® certification exam in November 2024.

According to the CFP Standards Board, New Jersey, with a population of over 9.23 million, has only 3,700 registered CFP® professionals. To meet this demand, the CFP Board is committed to developing and diversifying financial planners to meet the increasingly diverse needs of consumers.
